Nokia 1100 LCD with Arduino Uno

It is recently that I heard something about Nokia LCDs that they could be interfaced to microcontrollers because most of them uses generic LCD drivers and datasheets of those controllers are available on the web. I was really excited to hear that because it's a nice thing to have a cheap, light-weight and low power LCD with higher resolution than typical bulky character LCDs. So I decided to give it a try and started collecting LCDs of old Nokia phones like 1100, 3310 etc from my friends. I had many of them already in my 'junk' box. I disassembled all of those phones and took all the LCDs apart.

The first one I tired to interface was the Nokia 1100 LCD.
